WALTERS' 30th ANNIVERSARY
We are honored to have had Pastor & Mrs. Walters serving The
Lord here at Southside Baptist for the last 30 years. Click the

2008 Summer Revival. Laugh as you take a close look at how some
have changed over the years and smile as you remember some of

2008 FARMER GIRLS
HOME
Southside Baptist visited Farmer, NC where a new girl's home is
being developed by, founder & director, Evangelist Jimmy Clark.
Several of us toured the facility on April 26, 2008.

2008 MISSIONS CONFERENCE
Southside Baptist host an annual, week long, Missions Conference
were we focus on our heart for the mission field. This year our
main speaker was Dr. Dick Webster.

FANTASTIC SATURDAY
Each year, Southside Baptist host it's annual Fantastic Saturday.
That's a day of fun, focusing on the deaf in our community. Dr.
Ted Camp was our speaker.

2008 WILD GAME DINNER
Once a year, Southside Baptist Church has a "Men's Only"
night of food, fellowship & a message on how to be Godly Men.
This year's speaker was Retired Marine Chuck Cofty.

VALENTINE'S BANQUET
Each year, Southside holds their annual Valentine's Banquet where
married couples get to spend an evening with their "sweetheart"
and lots of laughs.

2007 JUNIOR CLASS
CHRISTMAS FELLOWSHIP
On Saturday, Dec 15 2007, the Juniors Sunday School Class had
their annual Christmas Fellowship. We met at the church for pizza
and devotions and headed off to Monkey Joe's in Pineville.

2007 VACATION BIBLE
SCHOOL
You have to see these pictures to believe it! We had so much fun
this year. Youth's lives were changed, hearts were touched and
decisions were made. The Lord is good!

2007 LADIES TEA
Each year, Southside host a special event for Ladies only. Well
there was one exception... the camera man... we had to get these
pictures somehow. And what would we have done with all of the
"left overs"? See if you can spot the mysery camera
man.

SPANISH TEEN
CAMP
Our Teens stay busy at Southside. Every summer they participate
in a Teen Conference in Walkertown, NC. This year many of them
also took a trip to New York City. The teens in our Spanish Congregation
also went to the very first Spanish Teen Camp in our area. Christian
Guzman, our former Spanish Pastor, directed the camp. Pastor Sumner
Cuesta was the speaker for the week. The teens had a great time
at Harvestime Bible Camp with other hispanic young people.
